Graduate student Qi Wang received the offer of UT Southwestern Medical Center

Recently, Qi Wang, a graduate student in Zhou Group, received the offer of UT Southwestern Medical Center, and he will continue his study and pursue PhD degree there.UT Southwestern Medical Center (UTSW), located in Dallas, is a top institute of medical education and biomedical research. The faculty includes 6 Nobel laureates, 21 members of the National Academy of Sciences and 12 members of the Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI).

Qi Wang has been studying in Zhou Group for three years and he has well learned a number of experimental technology and methods. His research interests focused on the MRI and the design of MRI contrast agents, and he has designed and prepared an MRI/fluorescence multimodal contrast agent based on HDL during his study, which had been published on RSC Advanceslast year. It was the research experience that made him stand out from over 1000 applicants and receive the offer finally.
