National Natural Science Foundation of China--national major program of scientific instrument and equipment named

        In December 14th, an on-site communication meeting for national major program of scientific instrument and equipment named "Development of human lung MRI system for lung major diseases research" was held in Wuhan. Shen Yan, the deputy director of NSFC attended the meeting and made speeches. He emphasized the importance of major program of scientific instrument and equipment. Then he listened to the reports from principal investigator (PI) and investigators of various subprojects about project progress and spoke highly of the project progress.

        According to the requirements, project expert group consisted 11 experts which are from the national major program of scientific instrument and equipment committee, Ministry of Science and Technology of the PRC committee, management working group, Science and technology financial evaluation expert group and related professional counterparts.

        The meeting was held by two group leaders professor Gu Ning and professor Lu Guangming. The project expert group listened carefully to the reports of principal investigator (PI) professor Zhou Xin and the investigators of various subprojects about project progress, and conducted field visits and discussion, then project expert group put forward the guiding opinion on the project team.
