Invited by Prof. Zhou Xin, Wuhan Center for Magnetic Resonance, Wuhan Institute of Physics and Mathematics, Chinese Academy of Science (WIPM, CAS) and State Key Laboratory of Magnetic Resonance and Atomic and Molecular Physics, Dr. Zeng Haifeng from Texas A&M University visited WIPM and gave a seminar entitled " Chemical and Biochemical Reactions Investigated by Dynamic Nuclear Polarization (DNP) Enhanced NMR " on February 13th, 2012.

In his presentation, Dr. Zeng firstly described the theory and the scientific significance of DNP-Enhanced NMR. After that, he introduced its applications in the fields of "heteronuclear correlation of small molecules", "chemical reaction" and "protein ligand interaction" with the detailed examples, such as exploring heteronuclear correlation spectroscopy, observing intermediates in chemical reactions directly and indirectly, and studying protein ligand interactions and measuring dissociation constants by DNP-enhanced NMR.

Dr.Zeng's presentation was impressive to the audiences, and many professors and graduate students asked the questions and participated the discussions.
